This week was full of meaningful learning and activities throughout Pineridge School. In recognition of Earth Day, students engaged in curriculum-connected reflections and activities, thinking critically about their role in caring for the environment and exploring ways to make a positive impact in their daily lives. From group reflection activities to crafts, you could see students engaged in that learning.
In Physical Education, basketball continued to build momentum as students practiced key skills through drills and shooting activities, developing both confidence and teamwork on the court.
In the classroom, research projects progressed as students in Gr. 6 explored the fascinating world of planets, uncovering interesting facts and deepening their understanding of our solar system.
Our Grade 5/6 leadership students have also been hard at work planning the next school spirit day, which will take place on April 30. The theme is “Favourite Item Day,” and students are invited to bring or wear something that represents their favourite item. We look forward to seeing the creativity and excitement this brings!
Thank you for another great week of learning and engagement. Don't forget to check us out on Instagram! @pineridgeproud
