This week has been full of energy and creativity throughout Pineridge School. In Physical Education, students have been learning about Olympic sports and trying out a variety of movements and games inspired by the events. Classes enjoyed challenging themselves, practicing teamwork, and discovering new ways to stay active. In music, students explored their creative side by developing their own original songs, experimenting with rhythm, lyrics, and melody. Across all grades, students continued to work hard on building their literacy and numeracy skills through focused lessons and engaging activities. Grade 3 students became scientists as they took part in hands-on explorations of forces, testing ideas and observing how pushes and pulls affect everyday objects. We also had our Texas Donut fundraiser conclude with the arrival of the donuts! Unfortunately, there were no pictures taken of the giant and delicious donuts because everyone was too busy enjoying them.
It has been another great week of learning and growth!
