It was an exciting and active week at Pineridge School! Grade 6 and EES students had the opportunity to participate in three days of cross-country skiing, building endurance, coordination, and confidence while enjoying time outdoors. Students demonstrated perseverance and a positive attitude as they learned new skills and supported one another out in the back field. Students who didn't get to do cross country skiing started learning about Winter Olympic Sports and trying variations of them in the gym.
The fun continued with our Anything But a Backpack Spirit Day, where creativity was on full display as students found imaginative ways to carry their learning materials. It was wonderful to see the school community come together to celebrate school spirit and have some laughs along the way.
In the classroom, students were working hard on developing their research skills, learning how to gather information, ask thoughtful questions, and deepen their understanding across subject areas. It was a great week of active learning, creativity, and engagement both inside and outside the classroom!
