As we move closer to the end of another successful school year, students at Pineridge School continue to stay engaged in meaningful learning experiences across the school.
Our Grade 6 students put their creativity and communication skills to work this week as they explored podcast creation. From planning and scripting to recording and editing, students developed engaging content while strengthening their literacy and technology skills.
Student Advisory organized a wonderful buddy reading morning, bringing students together to share stories and foster a love of reading. It was great to see older and younger students connecting through books and building relationships across grade levels.
The buddy activities continued as our Grade 5 students joined EES students for physical education activities. These opportunities allow students to develop leadership skills, make new connections, and enjoy being active together.
In Physical Education, pickleball remained the game of focus for students throughout the school. Classes have been developing their skills, learning game strategies, and enjoying some friendly competition along the way.
Across all classrooms, students continue to work hard on literacy and numeracy as teachers support learning and celebrate growth during these final weeks of the school year. We are proud of the effort and perseverance students are showing as they finish the year strong.
