Students across Pineridge School continued to strengthen their writing skills this week, focusing on adding more detail to their ideas and expanding their sentences to make their writing clearer and more engaging. In math, classes have been using a variety of math games to deepen their understanding of key numeracy concepts while building fluency and confidence in problem solving. In physical education, students continued working through the gymnastics unit, practicing balance, coordination, and movement skills in the gym. It is always great to see students so excited about learning! Also, our Grade 5/6 Leadership students have announced the next Spirit Day! It will be Athletic Day Spirit Day on Thursday March 19th. On this day, students and teachers are encouraged to show their school spirit by dressing in athletic-themed clothing. Participants are welcome to wear sports jerseys, athletic hats or headwear, athletic shoes, and other sports-related clothing. This is a fun opportunity for everyone in our school community to celebrate athletics and show their spirit. We are looking forward to seeing all of the different ways to share Athletic Spirit!
