What an exciting and active week at Pineridge School! Students had an incredible opportunity to participate in a tennis residency where they learned new skills, practiced teamwork, and built confidence on the court. By the end of the residency, many of our students were looking like true tennis pros! It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm, perseverance, and growth throughout the week.

We were also fortunate to welcome guest speaker Elizabeth Bennett, brought to us through the support of School Council. Elizabeth shared powerful presentations with students focused on kindness, courage, and connection. Her messages encouraged students to reflect on how they can support one another and build positive relationships within our school community. She also did a virtual presentation with our parent and caregiver community that focused on connections and conversations. This allowed for further connection between home and school. Thank you to School Council for making this possible!

Our Grade 6 students reached an important milestone this week as they completed their first Provincial Achievement Test. We are proud of the focus, determination, and preparation they demonstrated. Following the assessment, students continued building their literacy skills through Reader’s Theatre activities, working hard to strengthen their fluency, expression, and understanding of tone while reading aloud.

Thank you to our staff, families, and School Council for helping make these meaningful learning experiences possible! Don't forget to check us out on Instagram! @Pineridgeproud
