It was another wonderful week of learning at Pineridge School! Our students have been busy exploring new ideas, asking questions, and bringing their creativity to life in so many different ways. Classrooms were filled with excitement as students worked hard to build landmarks, explored the fascinating world of fossils, and experimented with creating words to share their thinking and ideas. One of the highlights of the week was an extra-special visit from author and illustrator Carolyn Fisher! Students had the opportunity to learn more about the book writing and illustrating process, gaining insight into how stories begin as ideas and develop into the books we know and love. It was a fantastic opportunity for students to see how creativity, imagination, and hard work come together to bring a story to life, and we hope it inspires some of our own budding authors and illustrators! Experiences like these help make learning meaningful by connecting classroom learning to the world beyond our school walls. A huge thank you to Mrs. Trofanenko for arranging this special opportunity for our students and helping make this memorable experience possible. We are so proud of the curiosity, creativity, and enthusiasm our students continue to bring to their learning each and every day at Pineridge!
