It has been another wonderful week of learning at Pineridge School! Soccer has kicked off in Physical Education, giving students opportunities to develop their skills, practise teamwork, and enjoy being active together. In literacy, our Grade 1 students explored the book Stella Luna and made meaningful connections to their learning about bats in science. They were very excited to create their own bats! Students also put their creativity and problem-solving skills to work as they used design thinking to explore shapes and discover new possibilities. Across classrooms, students continued to strengthen their writing skills, practising how to communicate their ideas clearly and creatively. In music, students explored rhythm and discovered how patterns can be created, repeated, and changed through sound. It has been wonderful to see students making connections across subject areas, asking questions, sharing ideas, and engaging enthusiastically in their learning. We are proud of the curiosity, creativity, and effort our students continue to bring to each school day!
