It was another great week of learning at Pineridge School! Throughout the week, students spent time learning, along with their regular lessons, about Terry Fox, his incredible determination, and the lasting impact of his Marathon of Hope. As part of our learning, students had the opportunity to participate in a special webinar featuring Terry Fox’s niece, who shared stories about Terry’s life, legacy, and the importance of continuing his mission of hope and perseverance. Inspired by what they learned, students proudly participated in our Terry Fox Run to honour his legacy and celebrate the power of making a difference in the lives of others.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our School Council volunteers for their support during the event and for helping hand out bracelets to our students. We would also like to thank our entire Pineridge community for their incredible generosity. Thanks to your support, we not only reached but exceeded our fundraising goal for the Terry Fox Foundation. We are proud of the way our students, families, staff, and community came together to support such an important cause.
