Dance Performance – Thursday June 12 

Parents and families are invited to attend our Dance performance assembly on June 12. The performances will take place in the afternoon. We are still finalizing details. More info to come! 

Gophers 

Concerns have been brought forward regarding the gophers on school grounds, both on CBE property and City of Calgary property. Our facility operator has submitted a request to the CBE grounds team to explore options for CBE property. We encourage families to visit the City of Calgary's pest management website – LINK to obtain more information on what and how the City can support. 

Traffic on Rundlehorn Drive 

We have observed an increase in congestion, speeding, and unsafe driving behaviors in the area, which pose a significant risk to our students, staff, and families. In collaboration with local authorities, we are actively exploring solutions to improve safety, but we also need your support to make a meaningful difference. If you have concerns please reach out to Calgary Police and/or the City of Calgary. 
Your cooperation is essential in creating a safer environment for everyone. If you have any suggestions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

We kindly ask all parents and guardians to:  

  • Drive slowly and cautiously near the school zone.  
  • Avoid stopping in no-parking zones or double-parking, which blocks visibility and traffic flow.  
  • Use designated drop-off and pick-up areas to ensure student safety.  
  • Encourage walking or biking to school when possible, especially for families living nearby.

  • Freezie Friday's will happen every Friday until the end of June! Make sure to check out the flyer sent home with your child(ren)
